Nick Nissing is the principal behind Luminosity, LLC. Nick graduated summa cum laude from Washington University with a degree in chemical engineering. He acquired his industrial experience while working at a Fortune 50 company that is a global leader in the development, manufacturing, and marketing of new products. He is a prolific inventor with numerous U.S. and foreign patents. His inventions have been applied to successful new products with annual sales in excess of $100 million.

Currently, Nick is an adjunct professor at Washington University, an independent inventor, and patent agent. At the University, his classes include topics on product development, leadership, creative problem solving, innovation, and intellectual property.

While he is a registered patent agent, his focus is on inventive techniques and patent strategy rather than writing and filing applications. Therefore, he does not regularly accept requests to prosecute applications.
